The Company's History

The company was founded in 1923. From its very beginnings, its eventful history has been rooted in the processing of natural raw materials that are still the basis of our business today. The specialization in lecithin was a continuous process that culminated in the second half of the 20th century. Since then, at the latest, the name Lucas Meyer has been inseparably linked with the term lecithin.

Since 2025, we have been working closely with Sigi Meyer from Vienna. Sigi is an expert in the entire oil mill complex.
